What a privilege it’s been spending time teaching such bright and generous young people over the past 10 years – sharing our appreciation of music and learning the craft of playing the saxophone and clarinet
Big decision….I have now officially announced it’s my last term of regular teaching trips to London….as these youngsters prepare to fledge and fly to university and pastures new. This feels like a new and challenging chapter…..all of us committing to different choices opening up in our lives…..but at the same time knowing that music will always be a special link between us
I’ve watched with interest as they’ve grown from tiny children to young adults – and I’m very proud of each of them. They’re all amazing musicians in their own precious way, and have shown passion and commitment with their studies to get to this point of excellence. I’m savouring these last sessions, and know there is going to be some amazing playing ahead before I say goodbye in March…..
